I am a US citizen working overseas and was dreading preparing my taxes. I'm very glad that I found Randall and Tax Samaritan. They were extremely responsive and professional and I would gladly recommend them to others.
I was worried about choosing a tax professional from the Internet, but used BBB to check that Tax Samaritan had no registered complaints. Not only were there no complaints there were many positive reviews. I am happy to be able to add one more positive review. Our tax situation was stressful and complicated and Mr. Brody was not just incredibly professional but also reassuring and positive – very much appreciated! Randall is a great EA for US ex-pat tax filers. He walked us through the process and did an amazing job finding our optimum refund based on our complicated tax situation–living and working in Germany while one spouse was working for a German company and the other was working for a US-based company. It was a pleasure working with him, and he made the process extremely easy.
Randall Brody and his Tax Samaritan team helped me understand and file my 2016 U.S. Income Taxes. In 2016 I retired from the U.S. Government and then began a job overseas with foreign earned income. Randall does an extremely thorough job at explaining tax rules to his clients. He understands the tax needs of expats, and can answer any question related to income taxes for U.S. citizens living overseas. Furthermore, he responds promptly to emails, often times within minutes, and he helped me get back several thousand dollars I didn't know was available to me. Also, he is patient and responds with kindness when answering questions that probably seem redundant or less than informed. I can't recommend him enough.
