Exemplary level of service and response. Our tax situation is complicated with international factors and all was handled professionally and smoothly.
I was worried about choosing a tax professional from the Internet, but used BBB to check that Tax Samaritan had no registered complaints. Not only were there no complaints there were many positive reviews. I am happy to be able to add one more positive review. Our tax situation was stressful and complicated and Mr. Brody was not just incredibly professional but also reassuring and positive – very much appreciated! I am happy to be able to recommend Tax Samaritan.
This is the second time I engage Randall and his team and had a positive experience both times. It was a great relief to find a reliable tax agent to file my taxes in a timely manner. I found them very efficient and organized. Randall and his team were very flexiable as well which was great given my workload.
For any US citizen living overseas, I would highly recommend using Randall for preparing your income taxes. He is familiar with all the finer details involved in filing both state and federal returns when it comes to living overseas. He provides great customer service. Unfortunately, I found many NZ/US tax specialists in NZ have a hard time answering emails, returning calls, and just responding to simple questions. However, Randall is very customer focused, always answers emails, and goes the extra mile to provide excellent customer service. Everyone of my many questions got answered right away or within the next day. His service is superb and will out perform any tax agency here in NZ.
Randall and his top notch team, did a exceptional quality of work on my taxes after I found out that the other company that I used did a poor job, working with him made it streamlined and accessible from working overseas and meet my expectations with getting a refund instead of paying taxes, I would highly recommend him and his team.

Randall Brody did way more of service that expected…beyond the call of duty!!! I must have sent over 50 emails asking questions and not only did he respond to EVERY one of them, he responded extremely fast (in some emails it was within minutes). He provided all the information I needed. However, there was the way that he responded that made me take noticed. His emails were very warm and respectful. I hate to say this but this is not what I was expecting from normal US services (from my experience not very good). This makes Randall a special case and strongly recommended. I came in completely blind on how to resolve my compliance and taxes. Mr. Brody lead me all the way to the finish line. If it was not about taxes, I would almost call him a friend and a mentor as that is how the relationship came out to be. All I can say is WOW! Amazing and Randall is the person to solve all your needs!!!
Randall prepared my 2013 tax return and reviewed my two prior years’ returns. I chose to work with Randall because his fees were much more reasonable than my previous tax preparer. He was both knowledgeable on UK and US tax considerations and readily accessible which I particularly appreciate given the time zone differences.
