I am a US/UK dual-citizen residing in UK and with a rental house in Florida and I needed to amend several previous years filings. Also, I made the unhappy discovery of two PFIC accounts in my portfolio. At that point my US tax advisor threw in the towel. Fortunately I found Randall Brody and he sorted everything out calmly and now my US tax affairs and FBAR filings will be much less of a burden in the future. Dealing with Tax Samaritan remotely over the Internet was easy and they responded very quickly whenever I had a question. I recommend Randall and Tax Samaritan to anyone struggling with their US tax reporting.
Randall prepared my 2013 tax return and reviewed my two prior years’ returns. I chose to work with Randall because his fees were much more reasonable than my previous tax preparer. He was both knowledgeable on UK and US tax considerations and readily accessible which I particularly appreciate given the time zone differences. I've been a customer of Tax Samaritan for a few years now and was initially hesitant to try a company I wasn't familiar with. However, I needed someone who was familiar with filing for overseas workers, as so many things can go wrong when our taxes aren't filed correctly. Well, I'm happy to say I've found the perfect match. Randall is a great EA for US ex-pat tax filers. Randall does an extremely thorough job at explaining tax rules to his clients. He understands the tax needs of expats, and can answer any question related to income taxes for U.S. citizens living overseas.
